Flames - new work(-in-progress)

I will start a two-week work residency in the studio of the Mime Fabriek, on Monday, the 22nd of May.

In 2020 I worked on the theme ‘water’, which resulted in the performance ‘Ocean in me’, the book of short poems ‘Waves’ and the music album ‘Arms of Golden Light’.

After two years of collecting, writing, and preparing, I dive into the studio to let my whole instrument - body, voice, space, imagination, flow, and playfulness join forces to revolve around fire, flames, light and more. And create new work.

I am very excited and have invited different voices to co-create with me during the process. As in the water - research, I will dive into the collective creation process and let the interactions, connections, moments and inspiration co-create what will be birthed into life and form.

Open sharing

On Friday, 2nd of June, I will hold a first open showing of the work so far.
